Public to vote for Sports Personality of the Year

The upcoming National Sports Council Sports Awards is less than two weeks away, and members of the public will get the opportunity to vote for their choice of Sports Personality of the Year.

 The nominees, who are being judged on their performance during the year 2024, are: Hayley Matthews; Sada Williams; Chelsea Tauch; Shai Hope; Niall Reid-Stephen; Hason Ward; Kishawna Niles; Tommaso Layson.

The public can vote via the National Sports Council’s website, www.nsc.gov.bb and choose their favourite athlete.

Voting begins on June 18 and ends on June 25 at noon.

The winner will be announced during the Sports Awards ceremony on Sunday, June 25, which members of the public can view via the live stream on the NSC’s website.
