It is being held under the theme Breaking Barriers: Advancing Inclusive Education for All Abilities. Other participating countries include Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines and The Bahamas. The objectives are as follows: Promote inclusive education policies and practices across the region. Elevate the voices and lived experiences of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and their families. Facilitate regional knowledge exchange and capacity-building. Advance legislative and policy frameworks supporting PWDs. Showcase innovations through a poster presentation of regional best practices. Encourage inter-sectoral collaboration for sustainable development. The CDN is a regional alliance committed to promoting the rights, dignity, and inclusion of persons with disabilities across the Caribbean.
