Anne-Marie Delores Wilson, of Canewood Development, Jackson, St Michael, reappeared in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Tuesday, vacated her previous pleas of not guilty and, when the charges were re-read, admitted to having, trafficking, intending to supply, and importing 9.15 kilogrammes of cannabis on March 29, 2023. Court prosecutor Station Sergeant St Clair Phillips told the court that Wilson went to a shipping company to clear and collect a barrel consigned to her. An examination of the contents revealed 41 transparent vacuum-sealed packages, which were concealed in an assortment of cereal boxes, bags of dog food and several containers. Magistrate Alison Burke ordered a pre-sentence report from the Probation Department and adjourned the case until February 16. Wilson remains on bail.
