Police identify victim in fatal Jackmans shooting

Thirty-six-year-old Damian Shurland Hakeam Parris of Chelsea Road, St Michael, has been identified as the victim of the fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday.

Parris was found by police lying lifeless between two motor vehicles in the vicinity of an event at Skeetes Road, Jackmans, St Michael, at about 2:10 a.m.

Another male was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor car for medical treatment.

Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who can assist with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246. (PR)
