Duo plead guilty to cannabis trafficking

Two men have admitted to trafficking more than 200 kilogrammes of cannabis after being re-arraigned in the Supreme Court.

Noris Rohan Jackson, of Manning Village, St George, and Graham Bradlee Johnson of Mount View, St Lucy, both pleaded guilty to being in possession of and trafficking 211.7 kilogrammes of cannabis on April 5, 2018.

They also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic the drug on the same date. 

Principal State Counsel Olivia Davis accepted the pleas on behalf of the State.

Senior Counsel Andrew Pilgrim, who represents Johnson, and Senior Counsel Arthur Holder, who is Jackson’s attorney, both requested pre-sentencing reports for their clients and records of their time in custody.

Justice Pamela Beckles adjourned the case until November 11, when the facts will be heard before the prosecution and defence deliver their submissions on sentencing.
