Charges under the Firearms Act have landed a 45-year-old on remand at Dodds.

Copeland Arindale Browne, of 2B Brecon Road, Grazettes, St Michael, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes on Wednesday on two charges to which he was not required to plead.

He is alleged to have recklessly discharged a firearm in a public place in a manner that placed Chad Roberts in danger of death or serious bodily harm.

The accused is also alleged to have used a firearm while committing an indictable offence of endangering life. The offences were reportedly committed on January 31.

Browne is expected to reappear before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on
March 7.
