Barbados Today seeks a highly-motivated and driven Strategic Sales Executive to join our Advertising Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing revenue from assigned client accounts and identifying and pursuing new business relationships and revenue opportunities towards growing an established client base.

The Role

  • Consistently meet or exceed planned sales targets.
  • Continually identify and cultivate new business relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present effective sales presentations to potential and existing clients, in
  • person and through remote means such as phone, email, and web demos.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports and any additional reports as required.
  • Contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related degree or equivalent years of work-related experience.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and marketing solutions is highly desired.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and adapt quickly to different selling situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Goal-oriented with superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record.
