Shooting at Haynesville

A 25-year-old man has been hospitalized after being shot early this morning at Haynesville, St James. Police say  Shamir Nicholas, of the same address, was injured in his right shoulder and neck during the altercation with with another man. Nicholas is undergoing surgery at the QEH.

Carlo Devere Hinkson, alias “Birdman”, is now in police custody after several months on the run. Police PRO Inspector David Welch says the man – formerly described as armed and dangerous – was captured by lawmen. Hinkson has not yet been charged.
