Man shot after firing at police

 

A man was shot after firing at police while they were conducting investigations in Christ Church this afternoon.

According to lawmen, around 1:45 p.m., they were working in a bushy area at Walrond’s Village when they encountered the victim who was carrying a firearm.

The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

Investigations are continuing.
