St James teen on rape and burglary charges

A St James youngster was charged with two counts of rape and aggravated burglary today when he appeared in the Holetown Magistrates Court.

The 17-year-old, of Lower Carlton, was remanded until August 23, 2021, by Magistrate Wayne Clarke.

The offences allegedly occured on July 4, 2021 during a reported home invasion in St James. (BT)
