Sam J’s minimart extensively damaged by fire

 

Police and fire officials are on the scene of a fire at Sam J’s minimart located at Belmont Road, St Michael.

The blaze, which started around 5 a.m., has resulted in extensive damage to the building.

Three fire tenders and twelve fire officers under the command of Station Officers Marlon Small and Tremelle Perch responded to the blaze.

Traffic is currently reduced to one lane and police have advised the travelling public to avoid the area at this time.
