Reminder: QEH No Weapons Policy

The public of Barbados is reminded of the No Weapons Policy being enforced at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Martindale’s Road, St. Michael and its external facilities of Enmore and Harrison’s Point. Individuals are not allowed to enter the facilities with any item that could be deemed an offensive weapon.

This includes, but is not limited to pen knives, lighters, scissors and firearms. Only members of the Barbados Police Service and the Barbados Defence Force in fulfilling their official duties, will be permitted to enter with a firearm. The QEH Security Team remains committed to the safety of patients, visitors and staff alike, and thanks the public for its understanding and
cooperation.
