Indecent assault accused closes case 

The indecent assault case of Adrian Antonio Burke continues in Supreme Court No. 2A before Justice Elwood Watts next week.

Burke, 50, of Gibbons Terrace, Christ Church, is accused of committing the offence against an 18-year-old girl on October 7, 2019.

The accused, who is representing himself, closed his case after calling several witnesses throughout the week.

Next Monday, closing submissions will be presented to the nine-member jury.

Principal State Counsel Oliver Thomas and State Counsels Paul Prescod and Dr Zoe King are prosecuting.
