Scores injured in bus accident in St James

Police are on the scene of a mass casualty involving two Transport Board buses in Lower Carlton, St James.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. and initial reports are that just over 60 people, most of them secondary school children, received minor injuries.

They are being treated on the scene. However, one person, an asthmatic, had to be taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
