An early morning blaze at Codrington Main Road, St Michael on Friday left four houses damaged – some extensively and others slightly – but no one physically hurt.
Station Officer with the Barbados Police Fire Service Damien Bayne said two houses were extensively damaged and two others were slightly damaged in the blaze. One of them was unoccupied and the other three were occupied but only one person was displaced, he reported.
Bayne said the Fire Service was alerted to the fire just after 3:30 a.m. and ten fire officers and two tenders from the Bridgetown Port Fire Station and the Bridgetown Fire Station immediately responded.
