Police investigating death of man who fell off roof in St George

A man has died after falling off a roof in St George, police say.

Just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, police received reports that a man had fallen off the roof of his house and appeared lifeless.

Officers responded to the scene at Drax Hall Woods where they located the victim — Jerry Adolphus Alleyne, 67.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor. 

According to police, Alleyne was doing some repairs on the roof of his house when he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
