Two men injured in separate Christ Church shootings hours apart

Police are investigating two separate shootings in Christ Church on Monday night that left two men injured.
The first incident happened around 7:03 p.m. at Gall Hill, where a man driving along the roadway came under gunfire and was struck. He was taken by private vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) for treatment.
In the second incident, around 11:40 p.m., a man was shot outside his Maxwell home after being confronted by an assailant armed with a firearm. He was also transported to the QEH by private vehicle.
Officers at the Oistins Police Station are continuing investigations.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the Oistins Station at 418-2612 or 418-2604. The police has given the assurance that all information will be kept confidential.
