St Peter man remanded on firearm, ammunition charges

A 24-year-old Gays, St Peter man has been remanded to prison after appearing in court, accused of having an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Easter Monday.

 

Shan Andrew Babb was not required to plead to the charges that on April 6, he had a firearm without a valid licence and 15 rounds of ammunition without a valid permit when he appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

 

He was remanded to Dodds Prison and the case was adjourned until May 7 when he will appear in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court.
