Motorist killed in St George collision

A 25-year-old St John man has died following a collision along Carmichael Road, St George, in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Tristan Kellman of St Margaret’s Village. Police say they received a report around 2:52 a.m. and responded to the scene, where they discovered the motionless body of a male in a motor car.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle was travelling from Boarded Hall towards Carmichael junction when it was involved in a collision with a trailer.  A medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.
