Transport fix

Prime Minister Mia Mottley and key players from the public transport sector have started talks at Government headquarters to discuss pressing issues affecting public transport.

Representatives from the Transport Authority, the Transport Board, the Ministry of Transport, operators and owners of Public Service vehicles as well as officials from the Barbados Workers Union are attending the meeting.

A statement issued yesterday by Press Secretary Roy Morris said that today’s meeting, “is to ensure that all players understand that the best interest of commuters must always be at the forefront of decision making and actions taken.”
