The incident began with Pond confronting Rice about putting his finger in the shape of a gun every time he passed his residence. Rice denied the allegation telling Pond to “go from round me”. Pond left again and returned with Clarke who was armed with a cutlass, but according to the facts ,the others who were on the scene armed themselves with glass bottles aiming at the two men causing persons to flee the area. They were later arrested and charged.
