Drug possession case adjourned until October

A 40-year-old general worker who denied having $90 worth of cannabis in his possession will make his next appearance in the District ‘E’ Magistrates’ Court on October 7.

James Jimmy Antoine, of Christie Village, St Thomas also said he was not guilty of possession with intent to supply and having a traffickable quantity of the illegal drug on March 31.

The accused, who is represented by attorney-at-law Lynette Eastmond, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes recently and was granted $2,000 which he secured with one surety.
