Met Office issues Sahara dust advisory

 

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) has issued a severe dust haze advisory for the island.

The Met Office says the island is being affected by a significant Sahara Dust outbreak.

It has advised persons with respiratory issues and allergies to travel with or have close at hand any and all medications in case of emergency.

Marine users should stay close to shore.
