Grazettes man on gun charges

A 25-year-old man has been remanded to Dodds until July 22 in connection with several criminal offences.

Peter Macfarren Rouse, of Lot 3D2 Apartment A, Scott’s Terrace, Grazettes, St Michael is alleged to have recklessly and without lawful authority or excuse discharged a firearm at Trotman Lane, Grazettes, on May 28, in a manner which placed Ronald Elms in danger of death or serious bodily harm.

He is also alleged to have damaged a window, two wardrobes and a glass valued at $2,679. 59 belonging to Elms on the same date and using a firearm without having a valid licence from the Commissioner of Police.

The accused was not required to plead to any of the indictable matters in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.

Rouse, who is represented by attorney-at-law Kamisha Benjamin, appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick this morning.
