Conversation with Czar Richard Carter

Barbados has always been a nation with well-educated and well qualified individuals from across all professional spheres.  The members of a task force created by Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, to navigate and manage the impact of the global pandemic Covid-19, is an apt reflection of this fact.  Barbados is fortunate to have Richard Carter on this taskforce as the island’s Covid-19 Czar.  Mr. Carter brings with him a wealth of experience including serving on the National HIV/AIDS Commission as well as working in Sierra Leon for four years during the Ebola pandemic under extremely trying and dangerous circumstances. BT Travel spoke to the Czar about how Barbados is handling the current pandemic and what visitors can expect when they come to the island.
