Two charged with Randy Selman’s death

Two St Michael residents, including a teenager, have been charged in connection with the shooting death of popular nut vendor Randy Selman which occurred on September 23.

They are 27-year-old Recardo Reco Lamar Best, of Clapham Main Road and 17-year-old Teshon Richard Anthony Moore, of No.32 Wildey Gardens.

The two are accused of murdering 38-year-old Selman, of No. 50 Golden Rock, The Pine, St Michael; use of a firearm and serious bodily harm.

The accused appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes this afternoon but were not required to plead to the indictable charges.

Best and Moore were remanded to Dodds to reappear before the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on November 3.
