Man seriously injured in accident

A 33-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a collision that occurred around 7:20 a.m., in Christ Church today.

According to police, the man whose name was not disclosed, apparently lost control of the vehicle and collided with a wall at the top of Oistins Hill, near Cane Vale, Christ Church.

The victim was extracted from the vehicle by personnel from the Barbados Fire Service using the “Jaws Of Life”. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations are continuing.
