Immigration Department reopens tomorrow

The Immigration Department will recommence operations from tomorrow, Wednesday, January 6, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

However, in the wake of the ongoing response and public health concern relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, all persons seeking to conduct business relating to applications for any form of status, permit or passport are required to do so by appointment only.

Walk-ins will only be facilitated in cases where payments are being made, and for the collection of passports. Persons applying for the Barbados Passport are strongly encouraged to utilise the passport delivery option via the Barbados Postal Service at the time of application.

All persons visiting the department are required to wear masks; sanitise their hands on entering and observe physical distancing of at least six feet. (BGIS)
