His death brings to 38, the number of people who have died from the virus. Twenty-one new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Sunday, March 14, while 41 people recovered from the viral illness. The new positives were among the 237 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of active cases is now 189. The 21 persons diagnosed as positive comprised of 10 women and 11 men. Eleven of them were already at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility undergoing assessment. The country has recorded 3,442 confirmed cases – 1,634 females and 1,808 males – while 3,215 persons have recovered since March 2020. The public health laboratory has so far completed 133,672 tests. As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 593 persons were vaccinated on Sunday. To date, a total of 52,290 vaccinations have been administered – 21,929 men and 30,361 women.
