Ministry of Maritime Affairs extends operating hours of fish markets

Fish markets across Barbados will open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, from tomorrow, Tuesday, March 16.

This is in keeping with the reopening of the commercial and retail sectors and an extension of the curfew which now runs from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy urges the fishing community and visitors to the markets to follow all COVID-19 protocols when conducting business.
