The loud silence of trade unionist-cum-politician-cum-mum’s the word Toni Moore and the recent vocal interventions from Dwaine Paul into a workers’ strike, must have caught the attention of union members. It is true Moore did resurrect herself momentarily but she seemed so out of place it was almost painful to watch.

With the exodus of Jah people from the Barbados Workers’ Union becoming more pronounced than the sales from brother Bob Marley’s album of the same name, perhaps it is time that the union’s membership replaces her as general secretary with someone of Mr Paul’s ilk and hope that he does not seek political office in two years’ time like his boss.

Blessings!
