COVID-19 UPDATE: 10 new cases, 18 recovered

Barbados recorded ten new positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 30.

The four men and six women were identified from among 369 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Eighteen people recovered from the virus and were released from isolation. There are now 134 persons in isolation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded since March 2020 are 3,652 – 1,757 females and 1,895 males – while 3,475 people have recovered from the virus. Forty-two people have died from COVID-19.

So far, the public health laboratory has conducted 140,874 tests.

To date, 63,715 vaccinations – 26,322 men and 37, 383 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
