COVID-19 UPDATE: Four new cases, 31 in isolation

Four new COVID-19 cases, one female and three males, were identified from among the 576 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Saturday, July 3.
Thirty-one people are currently in isolation.
There have been 4,086 confirmed cases of COVID-19 – 1,979 females and 2,107 males – recorded since the pandemic began in March, last year.  Forty-seven people have died from the viral illness.
A total of 187,754 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory.
The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 95,528 people receiving the first dose of the vaccine. The number of persons who have been given second doses and are fully vaccinated is 71,494 – 29,411 males and 42,083 females. (BGIS
