Christ Church man admits to burglary

A man from Montrose, Christ Church has pleaded guilty before the High Court to a charge of burglary.

Jamar Leon Ashby alias ‘Winston Hall’ admitted before Madam Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bowell to entering the home of Luther Mayers as a trespasser and stealing several items including a living room set, four tables, a dining table set, a clock, an air condition unit, a bed set, a vacuum cleaner, a toaster oven and a printer.

The items were valued at $25, 950 and were stolen between September 23 and October 1, 2017.
Ashby will reappear before Supreme Court No. 4 on September 17 when he and Crown Counsel Kevin Forde are to make submissions on sentencing.

In the meantime, a pre-sentencing report on him has been ordered by the court.
