Minister says 14 new electric buses on island

Minister of Transport, Works and Maintenance Ian Gooding-Edghill today disclosed that an additional 14 electric buses are now on island and will soon be added to the fleet at the Transport Board.

This will take the number of electric buses to a total of 49 which, according to Gooding-Edgehill, is the largest fleet of its kind in the Caribbean.

The 14 buses, which arrived in the country last Saturday, are currently at the Bridgetown Port.
