Two women injured during stabbing incident

Two women are nursing stab wounds after an altercation in The City.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Stephen Griffith confirmed the incident occurred today.

In a brief statement, the police spokesman said: “I can confirm that there was a stabbing incident in Broad Street. Two females were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention and that one male is in custody in connection with the matter.”
