Five die from COVID-19 in one day

​Two women and three men, all Barbadians, died from COVID-19 on Tuesday, November 16.

​Four of them passed away while at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility – three men, aged 58, 75 and 77, and a 64-year-old woman. An 89–year-old woman also died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility. They were all unvaccinated.

​Their deaths bring the number of people who have died from the virus to 204.

​Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (MR/BGIS)
