COVID-19 death toll climbs to 206

A 96-year-old Barbadian woman is Barbados’ latest COVID-19 casualty.

She passed away on Thursday, November 18, at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, where she was a patient in the secondary care section.  She was partially vaccinated.

Her death brings to 206, the number of lives lost to the viral illness in Barbados since the start of the pandemic.

Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to her family and friends. (BGIS)
