Parris sentenced to 33 years

Convicted killer Applon Parris was today sentenced to 33 years in prison for the March 2018 murder of police Constable Shayne Welch.

The sentence was handed down by Justice Randall Worrell in the No.2 Supreme Court.

Parris, who confessed to the crime, will however only send 6066 days or just over 16 years remaining on his sentence after the necessary deductions were made by Justice Worrell.
