Bus services for National Service of Thanksgiving

 

The Barbados Transport Board will be providing a bus service for persons needing transportation to the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, for the National Service of Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

There would be two (2) buses allocated to Oistin’s, Speightstown and Princess Alice Terminals. The buses leaving the Princess Alice Terminal would travel via Fairchild Street Terminal. The scheduled departure times would be as follows:

 

  • 7:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. from the Oistins and Princess Alice Terminal.

 

  • 6:45 a.m., 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. from the Speightstown Terminal.

 

Please note that these buses will return to the Gymnasium to take passengers back to their respective terminals, at the end of the service.

Persons with Disabilities who may require transportation to attend the service should contact the National Disabilities Unit at telephone numbers 535-3600/1 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  They should also indicate if they are wheelchair users or have general mobility challenges.
