Motorcyclist dies in traffic collision

A male motorcyclist has died following a traffic collision this morning, police say.

The motorcyclist reportedly struck a wall along the Belle road in St Michael. He died on the spot.

The collision happened shortly before 11 am.
Police say the identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
Police have cordoned off the scene and have redirected traffic away from the area.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
This represents the 5th road fatality for 2022.
