School term ends next week for Easter Holiday

The Hilary School Term (Term II) will end next week, for the Easter break. 

Public schools will close for students on Thursday, April 7, and for teachers, Friday, April 8. The break will last for two weeks. 

The Trinity Term, Term III, will begin on Monday, April 25, for teachers, and for students, on April 26. It will last for 12 weeks. During that time, there will also be a mid-term break on Friday, June 3. 

This term will be marked by a number of examinations, including those administered by the Caribbean Examinations Council and the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination, which is expected to take place in July. (BGIS)
