State closes case against Kellman

The prosecution on Tuesday closed its case against Tony Alvin Kellman who is facing a two-count indictment.

The accused, from Dunscomb St Thomas, is on trial before a nine-member jury in Supreme Court No. 5a charged with the unlawful possession of five rounds of ammunition on December 22, 2019. He is also charged with the unlawful assault of Rogann Thomas on the same date.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges before Justice Christopher Birch.

Kellman, who is representing himself, is scheduled to put forward his defence on Thursday.

Senior Crown Counsel Oliver Thomas is prosecuting the case.
