Fire officers quickly extinguish blaze at house in Villages at Coverley

 

Quick action by fire officers averted major damage to a house at Mango Villas, the Villages at Coverley tonight.

Station Officer Tremelle Perch told Barbados TODAY they received a call to respond to a fire at the property around 7:52 p.m.

“We managed to confine the fire to an area in the garage and we managed to get the situation under control quite quickly. We extinguish the fire by 8:28 p.m.,” he said.

Perch led a team of eight officers from the Worthing and Bridgetown Fire Stations.
