If I do not pay NIS or my taxes, I can incur legal penalties I believe. If my employer does the same, he or she can also incur penalties I assume.

Now if a politician is found to abuse my NIS, or taxes, or utilise them in a manner which leads to their depletion and to my disadvantage as a citizen who might have made contributions for 40 years and now my pension in peril, can any penalties be leveraged against the politicians responsible for dipping their hands in the funds?

Are there any laws that I can resort to, to punish politicians or a government for messing up my money? If there is none it seems rather unfair.
