Christ Church house destroyed by fire

An unoccupied wooden house was destroyed by fire at Smith Road, Sergeant’s Village, Christ Church, on Tuesday morning.

One fire tender from the Worthing Fire Station and another from the Bridgetown Fire Station responded to the blaze.

“We received the call around 10:19 a.m. and by the time we reached the structure, it was destroyed,” an official at the Worthing Fire Station told Barbados TODAY. (AH)
