Teenage striker Tajio James continued his impressive goal-scoring form by netting twice as Barbados were held to an entertaining 2-2 draw last night at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium against Grenada.

Nineteen-year-old James, who produced the injury-time equaliser in the first international friendly on Wednesday night at the Fond Playing Field, once again proved to be the hero for the Tridents.

James opened the scoring in the 17th minute, collecting a textbook past from Antone Greaves and putting the ball out of Trishawn Thomas’ reach.
The hosts equalised midway through the first half from the penalty spot compliments Kriston Julien to make the score 1-1 at half time.
Nevertheless, James looked certain to give Barbados head coach, Orlando Da Costa, his first victory since taking up the job when he scored his third goal in two games.
However, seven minutes from time, Grenada equalized again from the penalty spot thanks to Joshua Issac to ensure tomorrow’s third match is the decider. (AGB)
