Rat sightings disrupt classes at St Paul’s Primary

Classes at the St Paul’s Primary School were interrupted today after rats were spotted on the compound.

Around midday, while everyone was at lunch, teachers and students saw a number of rats going in and out of a classroom. The teachers vacated the hall and the inspectors were summoned.

However, the Ministry of Education did not close the school. Officials from the Barbados Union of Teachers visited the McClean’s Gap, Brittons Hill, St Michael school and spoke with teachers and other staff about the situation.

More details as they come to hand. (SZB)
