COP28 President-designate Dr Sultan Al Jaber and a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have come here on serious business – to see how climate change challenges are affecting Barbados and how the country is developing effective mitigation strategies. During a tour of the island, Al Jaber, who is also the UAE’s Special Envoy for Climate Change, couldn’t resist a drink of coconut water at Walkers Reserve.
