Flash-flood watch discontinued for Barbados

The flash-flood watch has been discontinued for Barbados.

The country experienced occasional light to heavy showers as a strong tropical wave affected the island. At present, the threat of excessive rainfall has diminished and hence, the flash-flood watch is discontinued.

Wet conditions will persist into tonight and Sunday as the tail-end of the tropical wave affects Barbados.

As a reminder to the public, a flash-flood watch or warning could be issued at short notice as the tropical wave continues to affect the island.
